UMN China Center Scholarships

China Center Scholarships
Awards ranging from $500 - $,1000 are available to help support University of Minnesota students who are participating in a study abroad program to the greater China area (mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan). Scholarships can be used to cover travel, tuition, room and board, and personal expenses.

Application deadline for May or summer 2016 programs: March 11, 2016.
Application deadline for fall 2016 or academic year 2016-2017 programs: April 15, 2016.

China Center Exchange Programs
-Chinese Government Scholarship: The Chinese Government Scholarship is a full academic-year scholarship for University of Minnesota undergraduate or graduate students to study at a university in mainland China. The scholarship will cover tuition and room and board, and will pay a small monthly stipend to cover books and incidental expenses.

Priority deadline: December 31, 2015.

-Chinese University Exchange Program (CUEP) at Peking University: The is an exchange program between the University of Minnesota and Peking University in Beijing. The program fee is estimated at about $7,000 per semester, which covers resident tuition, dormitory housing, and student services fees. Students will also be provided a monthly stipend.
