HHH hosts Model UN High School State Conference March 12

Model United Nations High School State Conference to take place at Humphrey School

The Humphrey School will be hosting the annual spring Model United Nations High School State Conference on Saturday, March 12. The Model UN Programs are innovative international education programs that engage 7-12th grade students both in the classroom and in simulations involving human rights, peace and security, economic, and sustainable development issues.

At the Humphrey School, approximately 375 students will engage in the topic of Child and Girl Soldiers as Delegates representing countries from the UN's 193 Member States. They will simulate the United Nations General Assembly with debate, drafting and passing resolutions while working together to solve these pressing world issues.

For more information or to volunteer, please contact Andrea Klein Bergman at andreab@unamn.org.

This event is co-sponsored by the Humphrey Admissions Office, International Fellows and Scholars Program, and Humphrey School Diversity Committee.

Pepe Wonosikou is the HHH contact for this program.
