Please join us for a panel discussion on foreign policy challenges facing the next U.S. President in China, Russia, the Middle East, and around the world. The event, which will include opening remarks and an informal discussion with U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, will feature four distinguished experts from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs community and the Washington-based Stimson Center.

Moderated by Humphrey School Dean Eric P. Schwartz, this engaging panel discussion will feature former officials from the White House, the Defense and State Departments, the U.S. Military and the National Intelligence Council:

Ellen Laipson , former White House and State Department official; president emeritus, Stimson Center
Chip Laingen, executive director, Defense Alliance; communications director, Minnesota Wire
Amit Pandya, former Defense Department and USAID official; adjunct fellow, Stimson Center

The event celebrates the new partnership between the Humphrey School and Stimson Center, and is also co-hosted by Global Minnesota and the Minnesota Committee on Foreign Relations.
