Humphrey Fellow alum Igoye speaks to Commonwealth Parliamentary Assoc UK on human trafficking

2010-2011 Humphrey International Fellow at the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs, Ms. Agnes Igoye, addressed the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK (Modern Slavery Project) - about human trafficking. She has been invited as one of the experts to contribute to a handbook to support legislators from Houses of parliament across the commonwealth -52 countries that span Africa, Asia, the America’s, Europe and the Pacific. The purpose of the handbook is to condense complex and challenging topics into a user-friendly tool- to support legislators in the various ways they can legislate to tackle human trafficking.

Ms. Igoye was awarded the University of Minnesota's 2014 Distinguished Leadership Award for Internationals.
