Engage with the Work of the Institute

The Carlson Global Institute provides a variety of opportunities for organizations and individuals to engage with its work. Opportunities include mutually beneficial hosting site visits in the United States and abroad; sponsoring class projects; guest speaking; and providing financial support for student scholarships, research, and program development.  Mandy Xue Bai

Mandy leads the Global DBA program in partnership with Tsinghua University in China. She has a B.A. in English and International Studies from China Foreign Affairs University, an M.A. in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, and an M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Before joining the Carlson Global Institute, she worked as the Associate Director at the University of Minnesota's China Center.

Her favorite international experience was kayaking and hiking at the Simatai Great Wall in Beijing.

J.B. earned a B.A. in Political Science from Miami University and an M.A. in International Development from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Prior to joining the Carlson Global Institute, he worked across the private, nonprofit, and higher education sectors in recruiting, fundraising, and business development. J.B. has lived outside of the United States in Luxembourg, Nicaragua, and Jamaica.

J.B.’s most memorable international experience was traveling in western Kenya and seeing Lake Victoria.
