Program director, Office of International Programs CFANS UMN

The Office of International Programs in the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resources Sciences (CFANS) and the Learning Abroad Center (LAC) at the University of Minnesota is hiring a program director. This is a joint appointment with 50% in the LAC and 50% in CFANS. The person hired will work 2 to 3 days per week in each location.

This individual will work with the CFANS Office of International Programs (OIP) to foster a holistic a global perspective in the college that includes development, delivery, advising, and promotion of education abroad programs as well as curriculum integration.

LAC Program Directors are responsible for assisting program-leaders (faculty and staff) with the development, delivery and evaluation of the academic curriculum and cross-cultural learning for select education abroad programs.

In addition, this individual is expected to participate in the development of innovative services and best practices in the field of education abroad.

This position has a variety of administrative responsibilities that requires the ability to work in collaboration and coordination with other team members, particularly with CFANS units and departments, and the Learning Abroad Center.
