Please join us as we celebrate Sherry Gray for 10 years of service to the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and University of Minnesota communities.

Sherry Gray coordinated the international activities and projects for the Humphrey School and is a lecturer in the Global Policy Area (GPA). From 2012 Gray has directed the International Fellows and Scholars Program, which hosts the Humphrey International Fellows (public policy, law and human rights) and international visiting scholars and fellows from around the world. She consulted with faculty, staff and students on a variety of activities designed to assist in globalizing all activities in accordance with the School’s mission and the University’s strategic plan.

Since 2008, Gray has assisted the School in developing international programs in all degree areas, including serving on the founding committee of the Master of Development Practice (MDP) degree program, establishing the GPA/MDP capstone, expanding student overseas experiential educational and global mentoring opportunities, supporting the reorganization of the GPA concentration, promoting internationalization of the Humphrey School curriculum, and initiating Global Notes. In the GPA she has co-taught courses on international humanitarian crisis response, global policy, and China's urban development and has supervised numerous student capstone projects for clients around the world.

Brief program begins at 3:30 p.m. Appetizers and beverages will be served.
